Xpress at schools in PFI scheme

Prospec has begun installing its recently launched Marathon Xpress cubicle range to a number of new primary and secondary schools in a large PFI scheme in Rotherham.

Balfour Beatty is the main contractor for the extensive PFI joint venture scheme providing 14 new schools in the Rotherham area. The scheme has been designed to raise the standard of education establishments in the area, creating pleasant environments for learning, as well as ensuring they meet DFEE guidelines and health and safety requirements.

Prospec is Balfour Beatty’s preferred supplier for the project and will supply and install all WC cubicles and duct panelling for the new schools using the Marathons Xpress cubicle range and the new aluminium framed integral duct panelling system.

Marathon Xpress cubicles are available in compact grade laminate (the 13RP range), a 30mm composite board with a melamine facing (the 30RW range) or high pressure laminate (the 30VB range). The cubicles are available in attractive but limited colours allowing the lead-time from ordering to installation to be shorter than competitors products. It is also one of the most cost effective products offered by Prospec, which has received an outstanding amount of interest since its launch.

Xpress cubicles are an ideal addition to education projects such as the new Rotherham schools as they have been specifically designed to withstand high public (and child) use. The cubicles are accompanied by a number of easy use accessories and are available in a number of bright and attractive colours.
