
Glass Lockers For Dry Areas
Marathon glass lockers (NBS N10/190a) are designed for use in dry areas incorporating wooden bodies with toughened glass doors.
• MFC locker bodies, available in a variety of height combinations and widths.
Features:
Melamine faced chipboard bodies with dowel and screw construction, available in a choice of colours and timber effect finishes.
• Base, top and shelf units from the same material with 2mm PVC edgebanding to front edges.
• Full width hanging rails are provided in all compartments of 900mm or more, captive coat hangers are available as an option.
• Concealed door frames from extruded aluminium profiles.
• Hinges from aluminium and stainless steel engaged into door frame profiles. Spring loading for automatic door closing. Limited to approx 110 O, to prevent the doors opening across adjacent lockers as a safety measure, also to prevent damage to keys.
• End and infill panels in matching glass or compact grade laminate.
Door Construction:
• 10mm toughened float glass with opaque ceramic paint to inside face.
• 10.7mm (2x5mm) toughened and laminated float glass with opaque ceramic finish to one of the internal surfaces for colours alternatively white PVB interlayer.
• The opaque ceramic paint finish is available in many RAL colours. Samples of chosen colours can be provided as the 10mm glass thickness adds a green tint to the exterior view.
• Doors are attached to hinges using stainless steel screws into anodised aluminium rosettes with adhesive pads. Expanding nylon grommets separate the metal from the glass.
• All edges of glass doors are polished with small chamfers to the corners.
