Marathon Suspended & Walk Through Cubicles
• Option of fully suspended system supported by connections to structural slab or walls above suspended ceiling, dependant on design of slab and adjacent services. Consultation or site survey required.
• The extruded aluminium 150mm x 60mm hollow section head is capable of spans up to 6 metres of single depth wall mounted cubicles.
• 50mm diameter vertical posts are mechanically joined to the head beam with screwport and through bolt connections to form a structural framework including capped ends.
• Junctions and intermediate supports (when required) are formed insitu with vertical100mm square support posts connected to the finished floor by adjustable legs.
• Door frame with "Safe Edge" anti finger trap detail.
• Full length channels are used to attach partition and pilaster panels to walls.
• Pilaster panels secured into frame with high modular anti fungal silicone and adhesive.
• Engineered to be used in double or single island configuration or wall mounted.
• This latest version of Marathon Suspended cubicles has been developed in conjunction with the Engineering Department of Sheffield Hallam University. Criteria includes the ability
to cope with users standing on bench seats in suspended changing cubicles. Maximum unsupported span for island cubicles is 3 metres.
• Where required the occasional support leg can be mounted onto the finished floor surface.
• Marathon Suspended can be used in free standing blocks, between walls or with wall mounted supports concealed within the ceiling void. Design flexibility enables it to be installed
in almost any project, even with large ceiling voids, unlike traditional ceiling hung systems.
Walk Through Cubicles
The system is ideally suited to the provision of cubicle corridors, used to separate wet and dry sections of swimming pool changing areas or "villages". Unoccupied cubicles are seen as the access to the locker area and onto the poolside. A central locking mechanism, which releases both doors on departure, controls the 2 doors.
